Junk Removal
One item or a full load, carried out, hauled away and swept up after.

You point, we lift
Point at it and it goes. One old couch or a garage packed to the rafters, we carry it out, load it, sweep up where it sat and take anything still usable to donation before the rest goes for disposal. You do not lift a thing.
Most junk is not hard to decide about. It is hard to move. The sleeper sofa that came down the basement stairs in 1994 and will not go back up the same way. The fridge in the garage that quit last winter. The hot tub nobody has used since the kids left. The boxes in the shop that got wet in January and smell like it.
Around Bellingham the carry is usually the real work. Older houses in Fairhaven, Sehome and the Lettered Streets have narrow basement stairs and tight turns. Hillside lots on South Hill and around Lake Whatcom mean a long flight of outdoor steps between the house and the truck. We plan for that, bring the dollies, straps and blankets it takes, and protect floors, door frames and railings on the way out.
Then we sort the load. Furniture and household goods that someone can still use go to donation. Metal and appliances go for recycling. What is left goes for disposal. You get a clean, empty space and you never have to rent a trailer or make a dump run.

One item or a full load, carried out, hauled away and swept up after.
Couches, sectionals, beds and dressers taken out of any room and down any stairs.
Fridges, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves and water heaters hauled and sent for recycling.
Old spas drained, disconnected, cut down where needed and hauled off the deck.
A whole house cleared with keepsakes set aside and usable things donated.
Garages, basements, attics and storage units emptied so the space works again.
Brush piles, branches, old fencing and windstorm debris loaded and hauled.
Drywall, lumber, flooring and old cabinets cleared from a remodel, no dumpster needed.
Mattresses, box springs and frames hauled out and recycled where possible.
Old sheds, swing sets and small decks taken apart and hauled away.
Everything a tenant left behind, cleared so the unit can be cleaned and turned.
Desks, chairs, filing cabinets and old electronics out of small offices.
We look at the load, in person or from your photos, and tell you what it will cost before anything moves. If the load turns out smaller than we thought, the price comes down with it.
Blankets on the banisters, runners on the floors and a second person on every awkward carry. We would rather take ten extra minutes on a staircase than leave a gouge in your hallway.
Paint, solvents, fuel, propane tanks, chemicals, asbestos and medical waste do not go on our truck. We tell you that up front and point you to where they can go instead, so nothing surprises you on the day.
Call, use the form, or send a few photos of the pile, the room or the item.
We give you an estimate based on how much of the truck it fills and what it is.
We book an arrival window that suits you and call when the crew is on the way.
The crew carries everything out, protecting floors and doorways on the way.
Usable items set aside for donation, metal and appliances for recycling, the rest for disposal.
The space is left broom clean, and you look it over before we drive away.

We haul junk from homes, rentals and properties across Whatcom County: Bellingham, Ferndale, Lynden and Blaine, plus Everson, Sudden Valley, Birch Bay, Sumas, Deming, Custer and the rural roads in between.
That means student rentals near Western that turn over every June, older Bellingham basements with steep stairs, shops and barns in Ferndale and Lynden full of things nobody has needed in years, steep wooded lots in Sudden Valley, and second homes in Blaine and Birch Bay that get cleared between owners.

Mostly by volume: how much of the truck your load fills. Item type matters too, because some things cost more to dispose of or recycle than others, and so does the work involved, like long carries, stairs or taking something apart to get it out. We give you the price before we start. Our junk removal cost guide walks through each factor.
Most haulers have a minimum charge for a single item or a very small load, because the truck, the crew and the trip cost the same whether we take one chair or ten.
Tell us what you have and we will give you the exact figure before we book.
We do not take hazardous waste: paint, solvents, chemicals, pesticides, fuel, propane tanks, car batteries, asbestos or anything biohazardous or medical. These have their own drop off rules in Whatcom County and we will point you to the right place. Our guide to what junk removal will not take covers each one.
Mattresses are bulky, they do not compact, and they tangle up landfill and recycling equipment, so many dumpster rental companies and disposal sites either refuse them or charge extra. Much of a mattress, including the steel springs, foam and fabric, can be recovered by a mattress recycler. We haul them and send them for recycling where that is available.
Small amounts of branches can often go in a curbside yard waste cart if your hauler offers one, and some transfer and compost sites take clean yard waste for a fee lower than garbage. Large piles after a windstorm are where hauling makes sense. See our yard waste removal service.
Tell us what needs to go and where it is. A few photos are the fastest way to an accurate price, and we can often quote from them without a visit.
